1945-1992
Allison’s ACE Hardware was established in Lottsburg by Nancy and Ira Allison in 1971 and became an ACE franchise in 1979. Operations expanded to a second store in Tappahannock from 1985 until Ira’s death in 1992. Nancy, and sons Joseph and Gregory, have carried on the business in Lottsburg ever since.
Nancy Allison
Owner and General Manager, Nancy founded Allison’s, with her late husband Ira, in 1971. She is recognized throughout the county for her support of community schools, churches and civic organizations.
